Healthy Lifestyle Week

At the start of our Healthy Lifestyle Week we were very lucky to have 20 World Cup footballs donated by local company Maxview , for our children to get into the World Cup spirit which is sweeping the nation.

As part of our Healthy Lifestyle Week we are keen to offer a fun, action packed week where the pupils will learn a vast amount about leading healthy lifestyles and introduce a wide range of activities which emphasise the importance of making healthy choices.  Amongst other opportunities the sports coordinator, Miss Ellington has organised workshops in cheerleading, archery, fencing and acrobatics. ‘The pupils are promised an inspiring week, and we have enlisted the support of Norse who will be providing an exciting smoothie making experience.  Other events will include cycling proficiency for our KS2 children and workshops on nutrition and well-being across the school.

Here is the school council with Hannah Clark from Maxview who presented the school with the footballs
