Our dinners are cooked at our school and the catering company we hire is NORSE. They provide over 25,000 primary school meals every day in Norfolk and Suffolk and they provide high-quality, local ingredients freshly prepared by happy and well-trained catering teams. They are able to give advice on nutrition and special diets with a weekly clinic available during term time. They also have the menus and further information which you can download. Please take a look at all the details and menu’s from NORSE here.
School dinners are payable in advance on Mondays. Monies should be placed in a sealed envelope which is marked with your child’s name and class and should be handed in to the class teacher at registration. Please contact the school office for the current school dinner costs.
Many children bring packed lunches. We must ask that lunches are only brought in a lunch box sized container, clearly marked with your child’s name, as we do not have the space to store rucksacks. Children should not bring chocolate, sweets, fizzy drinks or glass bottles in packed lunches.
Free School Meals
Any family receiving Income Support / Income based Jobseekers Allowance or Child Tax Credit may be entitled to receive free school meals. We would encourage all families who are entitled to free school meals to collect an application form from the school office or click the link below to download or print a copy.
Following from the school food plan in July 2013, the government created a new policy called Universal Infant Free School Meals and it has been implemented since September 2014. This means all reception, year 1 and year 2 children will be entitled to a free school meal. However you will still need to complete the School meals application form.
