Does the school offer Afterschool Clubs? Yes, Premier Education run Wraparound Care every day after school till 5.30pm. Places can be booked by visiting https://www.premier-education.com/parents/ Premier Education also run sports clubs 3 days a week till 4.15pm. We also offer Afterschool clubs run by the school which are regularly sent out via ParentMail.

When will my child have PE? Classes will send out a class newsletter which will inform parents of PE days each Term.

What if my child needs medication? School can only administer medication that has been prescribed 4 times a day, by a Doctor, or inhalers that are prescribed for as and when needed. A form must be filled out and taken to the School Office with the medicine. Medicine needs to have the label from the pharmacy.

Does my child get snack at school? All children from Nursery to Year 2 get government free fruit, this changes daily but they will receive things like Apples, Oranges, Pears, Tomatoes or Raisins. Children in KS2 are welcome to bring a healthy snack for breaktime.

Does the school have a PTA? Yes, we do, The Friends of Fairstead run lots of money raising events throughout the year plus they organise our leavers disco for Year 6 at the end of the school year, they arrange leavers hoodies for Year 6 children. They are always looking for new members and have regular meetings at school. If you are interested in joining, please enquire at the School Office.
