Key Stage 2 Performance

Key Stage 2 Children at the end of Year 6 are assessed using Standard Assessment Tasks (SATs) for Reading, Grammar and Maths, and teacher assessments for Writing. The results are used to compare the performance of children nationally. At the end of Key Stage 2, the average pupil in year 6 is expected to attain expected standard. Progress from KS1 to KS2 is measured, where a cohort makes average progress scored 0, greater progress as a positive number, and less than average progress as a negative number.

The government published data in December 2023 which can be accessed here.  It is important to note that the data may no longer reflect current performance.
