Key Stage 2 Children at the end of Year 6 are assessed using Standard Assessment Tasks (SATs) for Reading, Grammar and Maths, and teacher assessments for Writing. The results are used to compare the performance of children nationally. At the end of Key Stage 2, the average pupil in year 6 is expected to attain expected standard. Progress from KS1 to KS2 is measured, where a cohort makes average progress scored 0, greater progress as a positive number, and less than average progress as a negative number.
The government will not publish KS2 level date for 2021 to 2022 academic year. The last available public data is from 2018-2019 academic year. It is important to note that the data may no longer reflect current performance. For our performance data for 2019 please click here
